Veeramachaneni Diet Paneer Roll – Omega 3 Rich for Kids Brain Growth

Ingredients

  • Flaxseed powder-1 cup
  • paneer slices-100gm
  • butter-100gm
  • gingergarlic paste-1 tbsp
  • grated cheese-1 tbsp
  • onion sliced-1
  • tomato sliced-1
  • capsicum sliced-1/4
  • coriander leaves-few
  • chilli powder-1tsp
  • coriander powder-1/2 tsp
  • jeera powder-1/2 tsp
  • garam masala-1/2 tsp
  • sea salt-as per taste 

Method

Measure 1 cup of flaxseed powder. Take 1/2 cup of water and bring to boil. Now add the flaxseed powder slowly into boiling water without forming lumps. Cook in medium flame till all the water is absorbed to the flaxseed mix and become like chappathi batter. Switch off the flame and keep aside the dough for cooling.

For Paneer Masala

Heat a pan and add 100gm of butter. Add onions and saute till light golden. Add ginger garlic paste and cook till the raw smell of it goes. Add the sliced tomatoes and capsicum and cook well. Now add the masala powders-jeera powder,coriander powder,chilli powder and garam masala. Cook well till the raw masala smell goes. Now add the paneer slices and mix well with the masala mix without breaking the paneer slices. Fry in medium flame for another 2 minutes and switch off the flame. Garnish with coriander leaves. Add some grated cheese if required.

Now take the flaxseed dough after cooling. Take one portion of the dough enough to make the rotis. Take a chappathi rolling pin and board. Place a plastic cover on the board. Apply some ghee to the plastic cover. Take some portion of dough and press it to a circle. Place another plastic cover on top of the roti and roll well with rolling pin. After making the roti remove the extra edges using a round shaped lid.(optional) Now take the roti and cook well.

For making roll take some chopped fresh onions and lemon juice. Add this to the paneer masala mix. Take some part of this masala mix and put it in the middle of the roti. Make rolls by folding the roti. Cut the rolls into half and serve hot with veg salad of your choice. Healthy and tasty paneer rolls is ready to serve.
