Well m writing this review after 15days of purchases… There are lots many things we can talk about but I feels this led TV is meant for a common man. Who doesn’t have large budget but still wants big screen with nice picture quality and sound… Then just go for it… Yes it’s ture that it doesn’t supports every format even m not able to connect my smartphone via data cable yet but can connect a pendrive.. M still giving it 5star rating just bcz of its price with quality. With same screen size Samsung comes in 39000 to 48000, LG 56000. I bought this led after 2 month’s research on smart or non smart leds. BPL used to be a very big name in past 15years ago. Yes customer support is also slow bcz they came to me after the 4th day of delivery.. Look all of leds we are using in our home just have 8years of life.. Either Samsung, Sony, LG, OR ANY OTHER BRAND. After that it demands money or we sells out for new technology.. People who can spend 40 or 50k won’t like it but common man like me who want to make every single penny count would go for it. I bought it in sale in 25k. With one year extended warranty in 1699 bucks… Tm regular customer of Amazon but his one is my first very big budget shopping from here… I wish my review would lead a way to my kinda people.. But dispite of that don’t go on my sayings before buying any big aplyince do proper research and if you are fully satisfied only then buy. Thanks for paying attention on my words. I wish you guys a very good luck. Regards Amit verma

I used to be a brand freak. I always preferred to buy Sony and at one point my home had 12 products of Sony make. Having said that my mom always loves ‘Indian’ brand BPL TV and our first and second TVs were BPL. In this background, I was terribly confused among the brands when I wanted to buy a 43 inch TV. Given my obsession WITH Sony and my family’s lucky charm BPL. After much thought and a bit of reluctance, I decided to go for BPL 43 inch TV. The killer price was always a factor. I have been using it now for 2 weeks with Tata Sky HD connection. The experience is truly amazing. To begin with the installation was prompt and professional. The picture quality is extremely good and comparable to all other brands. Sound is good as well though the drawing room is quite big. I find it much better than my other Samsung 32 inch TV ( gifted). For those confused to zero in on the brand amidst the ocean of choices available, In would say go for BPL.
1) The price is a steal. Cheapest in the market, only next to TCL. But the build is much better than TCL.
2) All brands are manufactured in China. It is the life of the LED bulb that determines the life of the product and there is hardly any difference.
3) The price difference is mostly for the brand value and for the same technology across brands, it is wise to go for the cheapest.
4) For a typical Indian home, the list of specifications hardly matter and are more a marketing ploy than of any relevance given our requirements.
5) Support for BPL is good. So that should be a factor too.
Finally, it does helps to relive your childhood days when BPL televisions ruled Indian homes. For the brand freaks and gamers or people with specific requirements, my post is irrelevant. But for the average, salaried, middle class Indian who eagerly awaits the deals in Amazon, I confidently assure you that this a great choice to make. Go for it.
