Dondekai Fry dondekai Recipe

(tindora)-250gms onion- 1

finely chopped tomato-1

finely chopped mustard seeds-1/2 tsp

turmeric powder-1/2 tsp

coriander powder-1 tsp

chilli powder-1

tablespoon sambar powder-1 tsp

grated coconut-2 tablespoons

garlic crushed-6

Salt as per your taste oil-3 tablespoons  & some curryleaves

Preparation Method

Heat the pan and add oil. When oil is heated add mustard seeds. Let it splutter. Add onions and curry leaves. Fry till onions are transparent. Add turmeric,coriander and chilli powders and saute till the raw smell goes. Add tomatoes and cook till they are soft. Add the dondekai pieces and mix well. Cover and cook for 5 minutes in medium flame. After 5 minutes add required salt and sambar powder and mix well. Fry well in medium flame . Add grated coconut and crushed garlic and cook till the raw smell of garlic goes. Add some curry leaves and switch off the flame. Delicious dondekai fry is ready to serve.
